Returning to the workforce after caring for others can be challenging. That is why the Mid-Career Checkpoint (MCC) program is here to give YOU the FREEDOM TO THRIVE and make your transition back to work as easy as possible.

Who can join the program?

The program is offered to all women and men across NSW who have undertaken caring responsibilities. Coaching and support is offered via ZOOM, phone or in person.

All participants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Are currently out of the workforce and are looking to re-launch or kick-start their career (Stepping back in)
  2. Have recently rejoined the workforce and are looking to advance or change their career (Stepping Up)

What will your journey look like?

Step 1

Register your interest Visit apprenticeshipsupport.com. au/MCC and register your details.

Please note: This program is not just for people who are interested in an apprenticeship!

Step 2

Meet your Career Guide – Tell them about your background, what your goals are and explore how our program can support you.

Step 3

Skills, Training and Employment Plan (STEP) – STEP is your personal guide that will help you achieve your goals when kick-starting or re-launching your career.

Step 4

Action your plan – Your Career Guide will help you write your resume, prepare for interviews and work on your digital literacy skills. Plus loads more to make you feel confident and work-ready!

In addition, the program will offer local networking events with like-minded participants which is a great way for everyone to share their experiences.
